Carlton Education Services adopts the following policy for monitoring education provided for continuing education, post or pre licensure courses.
- The Arkansas Real Estate Commission (“Commission”) shall always be informed of the course schedule and will make any educational offering available to the Commission.
- In the event education is offered during a lunch hour or other break time all attendees will be required to be present and sign into the course during that time.
- Any course offering that is not open to the public, or is closed to a specific group shall require notification to the Commission two (2) weeks prior to the course offering of the date, time and location of the class.
- All students shall be required to sign into the course through the attached sign-in sheet prior to the scheduled start time for the morning.
- All students shall be required to sign into the course for any lunchtime education through a separate sign-in sheet.
- All students shall be required to sign into the course through the attached sign-in sheet prior to the scheduled start time of the afternoon session.
- Sign-in sheets shall be collected after the course begins, and any student who is late will have to make up any missed time in order to receive credit for the course.
- Students may make-up missed time by attending the same educational course at the time agreed by the Principal Instructor that will cover the missed material.
- Students will not receive their certificate of completion until they have completed all of the required hours of the course.
- Students are asked not to leave during education except during emergencies or reasonable needs. To accommodate reasonable needs, each course will give ample break time for bathrooms, refreshments and returning emails and calls.
- Students must be engaged in the learning process to be considered in attendance. If a student is found to be texting or emailing other than for course work, the instructor may refuse to provide credit for the timeframe the student was not engaged.
- To make up missed time, a student is asked to email the Principal Instructor, Dale Carlton, to identify the next available course of the same material and what time the student must attend.
- Third party sponsors shall be asked to sign the attached Statement of Affirmation of No Known RESPA Violations and this shall be filed with the Commission.
